Sunday Sendoff #7: The Past Is Gone (Forget About It)

It’s gone, brother.

Done. Over. Dead and buried.

You can’t go back. Can’t rewrite it. Can’t re-live it.

All you’ve got is now—this breath, this rep, this moment.

And maybe (if fate allows) the future.

So what’s it gonna be?

You gonna sit around, gripping guilt like a dumbbell that never built a single muscle?

Replaying old scenes like a broken tape—what you should’ve said, should’ve done, who you should’ve been?

Or are you gonna rise the hell up…and forge forward?

Here’s the truth:

The past has one job—to teach.

That’s it.

It’s not a home. Not a place to live. Not a prison for your progress.

Yeah, reflect. Learn. Take the hit and extract the lesson.

But don’t dwell.

Don’t rot in “what could’ve been.”

Don’t bleed out in “back then.”

Hindsight is 20/20—forward vision is what changes your life.

Because you can do things differently now.

You can build something better today.

You can become someone stronger tomorrow.

The clock’s ticking, and it ain’t ticking backward.

So forget the past—unless you’re learning from it.

Then forge forward like your life depends on it.

Because it does.

You’re not who you were.

You’re who you choose to be right now.

Let’s ride.

Guiding Principle

The past is done. Forge forward.

Something to Ponder

Do you keep your promises to yourself? Do you follow through for yourself?

Or do you break your own trust, day in and day out?

See You In the Arena

This week is just about over. Next week is just about here. Let’s keep building.

Brick by brick.
